Gangstasino

Privacy Policy

This policy covers gangstasinoca.com, the website you are reading. It does not cover what the Gangstasino casino platform does with an account you open there; that is governed by the casino's own privacy notice, which you accept at registration. Two different operators, two separate documents, and the difference matters when you decide where to send a request about your data.

1. Who runs this site

gangstasinoca.com is run as an affiliate publication about Gangstasino Casino for readers in Canada. We publish information, we link to the casino, and we earn a commission when a reader registers through one of those links. We are not the casino, we hold no player balance, and we have no access to any account you open.

2. What we collect

Three categories, and none of them identify you by name:

We ask for no name, no email address, no postal address, no payment details, and the site has no registration form or newsletter to submit them to.

3. Why we collect it

Server logs exist to keep the site available and to spot abuse. Traffic measurement tells us which pages are worth expanding. Click data is the basis on which the casino's affiliate programme pays us. Under PIPEDA the purpose has to be one a reasonable person would consider appropriate, and under the GDPR the lawful basis is legitimate interest in running and financing a website.

4. Cookies and similar technology

This site sets no advertising cookie of its own. A partner link may set a tracking cookie on the casino's domain once you follow it, which is how the referral is attributed; that cookie belongs to the casino's programme, not to us. Cloudflare, which serves this site, sets security cookies needed to tell a browser from a bot. Your browser settings control all of them, and blocking them does not lock you out of any page here.

5. Who sees the data

Our hosting provider and Cloudflare process request data as part of delivering the site. The casino's affiliate programme receives the fact that a click came from this site. Nobody buys data from us, because we have nothing to sell: there is no customer list on this side of the link.

6. Where the data goes

Servers and content delivery nodes are located outside Canada, so request data crosses borders as a matter of routing. PIPEDA allows this provided comparable protection travels with it, which is handled by the contracts with those providers.

7. How long we keep it

Raw server logs are cycled out within a few weeks. Aggregate traffic figures carry no identifier and are kept as long as they remain useful for editing the site. Click records are retained for the period the affiliate programme needs to settle a commission.

8. Your rights in Canada

PIPEDA gives you the right to ask whether we hold personal information about you, to see it, to have an error corrected and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia have their own provincial statutes that give equivalent rights. In practice a request to us returns very little, because an IP address in a rotating log is nearly all there is.

9. Your rights elsewhere

A reader in the European Economic Area has the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. A reader in California has the CCPA rights of access, deletion and opt-out of sale; we sell nothing, so the third is satisfied by default.

10. Children

This site is written for adults who may legally gamble where they live. We do not knowingly collect anything from a minor, and content aimed at children is not published here.

11. Security

Traffic runs over TLS, the site is static with no database of readers behind it, and administrative access is limited to the people who publish it. No arrangement on the public internet is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.

12. Changes and contact

When this policy changes the revised text replaces this one on this page, and the date below moves. To exercise any right above, or to ask what is held, write to privacy@gangstasinoca.com. A request about a casino account, a deposit or a withdrawal has to go to the casino's own support, because we cannot reach any of it.
